Producer & Engineer: Raphaella Hero

Raphaella Hero is an indie folk-rock artist, composer, violinist, producer and desperate romantic from Berkeley, California. Her music has at its heart the spirits of poetry, philosophy, and improvisation which have guided her creative searchlight, utilizing vocal and instrumental techniques drawn from her deep roots in traditional music to cast a spell over her audiences. As a producer, bandleader, and teacher, Raphaella understands the alchemical effect of leading with love and embodying service and excellence, leaning fully into possibility and passion in all the work she does. She has been described by her mentors and contemporaries as a force to be reckoned with, possessing a will of iron determination and the desire to chart a course toward joining her heroes in the pantheon of folk.

While receiving a degree from Berklee College of Music, Raphaella Hero performed with Darol Anger and Mike Marshall, Kenny Werner, Eugene Friesen, Kenny Barron.. She now records and tours with her instrumental duo, Clara Rose & Raphaella Hero, as well as her own band, Raphaella Hero and the Last of the Romantics.
